FREE VIDEOS & RESOURCES FOR BEGINNERS

As promised, here's the section with different free resources and videos for beginners to help you learn Polish while enjoying the process every step of the way! 

And please remember, give these resources a try and tell yourself the truth on whether you actually understand that particular resource or not. The message needs to be comprehensible (not every single word but the overall message, you need to understand "what's going on") for language acquisition to truly come about, otherwise it's just noise and it's not helping you.

And finally, we'll constantly be adding new resources and ideas, so don't worry if the amount of available resources is not too large by the time you're here. 

These are the two types of resources that I believe are the most appropriate for beginners:

Cartoons:

They might not be the most interesting resource for us adults but believe me, you'll end up ejoying them (specially when you realize you can understand a new language, which is a priceless feeling) and you can also look at them as a sort of transition resource that's going to eventually give you access to more complex and interesting resources. Here you have some Youtube channels, but feel free to go on Youtube and search for others. And remember the little trick: you can slow down the pace on Youtube, and this can make a difference. 

Comics:

The language used in comics and the help of images make them an excellent resource for beginners to start getting exposed to written Polish. But, as usual, remember to tell yourself the truth on whether you can actually understand a specific comic or not. You can try to find comics in your local library (it might be hard to find them in Polish but I believe it's worth trying) or search for comics online as well. I'll post here websites whenever I come across any of them in the future.
