FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
What if I realize this is not what I was looking for?
There’s no problem at all here. Like I said, before getting any course started, we’ll have a free Skype session to better explain the entire picture as well as to show an example of a class We want the best possible experience for all our students.
How can I pay for the courses?
Paypal or Bank transfer.
What will the schedule look like?
Usually, we’ll have 2-3 weekly sessions for 3,6 or 12 months. From there, we’ll decide along with the students what the schedule is going to look like as well as the number of weekly sessions. We’re also flexible when it comes both to the amount of weekly sessions and the duration of the class if the student prefers a different structure.
Isn’t this yet one more course or method that looks amazing but eventually takes you nowhere?
Absolutely NOT. This method and teaching approach have a huge amount of scientific research studies to back it up and, at the end of the day, it’s nothing but the same process by which 100% of children acquire their native languages.
Why are these courses and the TPRS method special?
They’re simply based on the right language acquisition principles, those that help every single kid in this planet acquire their native languages. I speak 6 languages as of now and I don’t waste a single minute of my time consciously studying grammar rules, memorizing vocabulary lists… Moreover, all the TPRS teachers I know speak at least 3 languages fluently, and I don’t believe in coincidences.
Is it enough with 2-3 classes per week to learn a language?
It really depends on your goals. We already know that comprehensible input is the key to the entire process, so the more comprehensible input you get, the faster your progress will be. This is the reason why with our courses we don’t just settle for 2-3 classes per week, but we also give our students keys, ideas and resources to keep learning on their own outside of the classroom through interesting and pleasant activities.
What’s the level of these courses?
We offer courses for both beginner and intermediate speakers in the Spanish and Portuguese cases, and for just beginners when it comes to Polish. We believe the teacher’s goal is to get students to a point in which they can take advantage of what the real world has to offer, a tremendous source for comprehensible input and ultimately language acquisition.
